Last night, my favorite / only boyfriend proposed to me.

And I said yes.

Believe me when I say that I am more surprised than you are.

We went out for a walk near the forest (it is not a real forest, more like a tree lined park but in Japan, we take what small forests we find and we call them forests) with hot tea in our hands.

Suddenly, he looked at me and said, "I really love you. Do you know that?" and I said that I did. Then he said, "We'll probably get married someday. What do you think about that?" and I jokingly said I thought it was a very good idea.
;)

Then he looked at me seriously and said, "really?" Then when I nodded yes, he put this shiny ring on me and really proposed to me. I can't believe that he actually did it. I said yes and then we both started crying. So that's the end of that sappy story. (although it is not sappy for me, really because for me I am very happy and it is a beautiful story!! And it's my blog, so you just have to put up with sappy stories sometimes. ;)

So there you have it. I am engaged now and I'm going to marry the most handsome, interesting, smart, funny man I know.

So I guess this is the end of this blog. I hope that you respect my need/desire to start from fresh with this blog. That is why I deleted the old posts. I am so grateful for all your kind comments and fun interactions. I'm so glad to have found a few of your wonderful blogs and I will keep reading and commenting on them, of course!
